Naturalization and how to obtain documents is the topic at the Jewish Genealogical Society of Palm Beach County on Thursday, November 19.
The venue is the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach, and the day begins at 11.30am with Galicia and Hungary SIG sessions, a 12.30pm Brick Wall session, and a 1pm business meeting, followed by JewishGen education vice president Phyllis Kramer's presentation.
FEE: Non-member guests--$5 (guest fee may be applied toward membership dues)
Kramer will demonstrate how to find and use naturalization records for family research. She teaches a quarterly JewishGen online genealogy course and frequently lectures at International genealogy conferences.
She also runs the monthly meeting Brick Wall Q&A sessions. Kramer taught a beginner’s genealogy course at last winter's JGSPBCI Mini Conference, and will again speak at this year's Mini-Conference set for December 9 at the JCC in Boca Raton.
