"Jews in the Civil War: Answering the Four Questions" will be presented by Richard Ferman, assisted by his wife and son, who will all be in costume. He and his wife are members of a Civil War hereditary society.
The four questions to be answered:

-- Why did they join?

-- What did they do?

-- What happened afterwards?

-- What can we do to honor them?
A direct descendant of a disabled Civil War veteran, Ferman is a past president and program chair of the Santa Clara Historical and Genealogical Society. He holds a history degree and has taught at high school, college and SeniorNet.
