Florida: Arthur Kurzweil, Jan. 9

Internationally known Jewish genealogist Arthur Kurzweil will speak on "Jewish Genealogy as a Spiritual Pilgrimage," on Wednesday, January 9 in Delray Beach, Florida.

Kurzweil is the author of "From Generation to Generation" (1980) the second major book to appear on Jewish genealogy. This volume has inspired thousands of people around the world to begin the search for family.

Hosting this appearance is the Jewish Genealogical Society of Palm Beach County, in conjunction with the group's annual elections and installation of officers.

The day begins at the South county Civic Center in Delray Beach at 11.30am with meetings of the Hungary/Romania Special Interest Group (SIG) and the Belarus SIG. Registration and "breaking through brick walls" session begins at 12.30am, with the official business meeting at 1pm, followed by Kurzweil's program.
