Although the website is not yet up and running, you may want to mark your calendar now for the 28th IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy.
This will take place August 17-22, 2008, at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, in Chicago, Illinois. It will be co-hosted by the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies, the Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois and the Illiana Jewish Genealogical Society.
If you're thinking of presenting at this conference, the Call for Papers will likely be made soon, so jumpstart your planning.
And if you're planning far ahead, the 29th IAJGS International Conference edition is set for August 2-7, 2009, at the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennslyvania. It will be co-hosted by the IAJGS and the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Philadelphia.
