Long-time Polish researcher Judy Baston will speak on "Doing Research in Poland" at 7.30pm Monday, October 15, at Congregation Beth Am, Los Altos Hills.
Baston - a member of Jewish Records Indexing-Poland's Executive Committee - will discuss ways to find a Polish ancestral town, determine what records exist, how to make the most of the JRI-Poland database and website, as well as other hints to help enhance Polish research.
The Peninsula group is one of three branches of the Jewish Genealogical Society of the San Francisco Bay Area, which also meets in San Francisco and Berkeley.
