BBC is launching a Who Do You Think You Are? magazine spin-off on its popular genealogy series. The fourth season begins tonight (Thursday, September 6), on BBC One, with Natasha Kaplinsky as the subject. For more on her story, click here.
In May, the program sponsored a live family history fair in London, and the second Who Do You Think You Are? LIVE is planned for May 2008.
The first issue of the 100-page full-color magazine will be out September 25, priced at £4.25. Each issue will include a DVD or CD with clips of the BBC show and archive material. There will also be a magazine website.
Genealogy website Ancestry.co.uk - which also sponsored the live show - will reportedly act as the data provider for the BBC website.
